  7. Rarely, and I mean rarely, do I comment on websites such as these, but I have to say, these recipes are spot on. I made Scents of Christmas over a week ago. It is still in my little crock, and all I do is add boiling water every morning and stir it. I can't believe the strength of the aroma. Thank you very much for sharing these with the social networking community. I'm excited to try a new one, but don't want to waste this one.

  11. If i want to give these at christmas how soon can i make them? Is it necessary to dry out fruit and should i add the water to mason jars? thanks

  12. Hi Karen! The fruit does not need to be dried. I gave them to my friends and neighbors with the recipe ingredients and instructions to add their own water etc.on a cute card attached to the bag with the fruit and spices. I would deliver them soon after you make them so that the fruit doesn't go bad before it is used. Luckily the entire season can use a yummy smelling house so you can give them anytime and they will work great! Thanks for stopping by! Merry Christmas!

Ok this my friends is my tried and true corned beef recipe. St Patricks Day is coming and we need to get ready for it! Am I right? This method turns out tender and juicy corned beef every time! It never dissapoints. I prefer to use a point cut because it is more marbled with fat and in turn has more flavor. It you are interested in a beautiful slice choose a flat cut. It will still be very good. Its mostly about preference here. Instead of adding a recipe card this time, I will just have a little how to. Its too easy for a full on recipe format. You will need a  corned beef big enough for your crowd, which is approx 1/2 a pound per person.  2 onions quarted extra pickling spice (found in the spices section of the grocery store and can sometimes be found with the canning supplies) 1. Add the quartered onions to the bottom of your slow cooker 2. Place the corned beef on top of them so the roast isnt
