Muddy Buddies or Puppy Chow

My sweet Sarah loves Muddy buddies and requests them for the holidays especially. If you are needing a delicious crowd pleasing treat that is quick and easy this one is for you!   Here are some fun facts about this delicious treat! General Mills started selling their version of the snack as Chex Mix Muddy Buddies in 2010. However, the snack has been popular in some parts of the country since at least the 1980s. The origins of the snack are unclear, but it likely originated from recipe pamphlets or community cookbooks from the 1960s.  Puppy chow, also known as muddy buddies, is a sweet and crunchy snack made with cereal, peanut butter, chocolate, and powdered sugar. It's a popular treat for holidays and gaming, and is often made for both children and adults. The snack is especially popular in the Midwest, which is known as the "puppy chow belt.

Overnight Breakfast Crouton Casserole

Perfect for Christmas or Thanksgiving morning, this Overnight Crouton Breakfast Casserole is loaded with eggs, sausage, and savory croutons and topped with melty cheese. The combination of crispy edges and soft inner textures creates a mouthwatering bite every time. This Savory Bread pudding like dish works amazing because the croutons soak up the eggs so you get zero sog. It is really GOOD! I definitely suggest adding this one to you holiday morning menu!
