This tikka masala curry if far from an authentic recipe, but it does deliver that iconic, nuclear-orange flavor you crave, and its comforting and delicious. While I personally use more like 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper, my family prefers a little more mellow, I've provided the recipe with a hotter heat level for those who prefer it more spicy. You could even add more if you like the hotter heat. We love eating it over basmati rice and the leftovers the next day are even better! Give it a try!
I love love love things that make my house smell well.....yummy! These recipes are wonderful for just that! I love to just throw the ingredients into a small saucepan on the stove and let them just barely simmer. (not to be left unattended) This also makes a great neighbor gift! Just deliver the ingredients to a friend with the instructions in a cute embellished bag and TA DA! Cheap, yet wonderful gift!! (plus makes a great humidifier too!)
