Looking for Last Day of School Fun? Only budgeted a dollar a kid? NO Problem!!

It is tradition (don't you know if you do something twice it suddenly becomes tradition LOL) to have a shaving cream fight after school on the last day of school to ring in the summer. Let me just say there is never more fun than can come from 5, buck a piece, shaving cream cans can buy!! I will only allow it that one weekend because it is a big mess to clean up and it does something very odd the the hair. The kids know to get as much out of it as they can, while they can, so needless to say they do.
PS we learned that the aloe kind burn a little and will be avoided next year.

    Try to avoid the gel kinds too as they don't fluff up as much as the ready to go kind. It is a fun cheap way to keep them amused for the entire afternoon and evening. Glad to say I started this tradition back in the 80's and is cool to watch the kids carry it on today. Enjoy!

    I think we both started in the 80's except it was at kids walking home for me. I was a bad naughty baby back then! LOL!

    We weren't allowed to bring backpacks to school the last day because we always had shaving cream fights on the way home. So we would hide the cans in bushes on the way home! The streets were always covered! I never thought of just doing it in the yard! Thanks for the idea!!

The Stairway is AMAZING!!

I had to blog about one of my most recent vinyl jobs! Have you ever worked with someone that you have never heard their voice, or seen their face, but feel like you really connect with them? That is how I felt about Laura who commissioned us to cut these wonderful "rules" for her family!! Is she not a crafty  GENIUS!?! I love it!
